We offer a teaching approach that combines personalized learning, practice, and technology, respecting each student's level, goals, and pace. Lessons can be tailored to different needs, from those just beginning to learn English to those who want to improve their overall communication and develop greater fluency. Our teaching philosophy focuses on a student-centered classroom. We incorporate grammar and lexis with listening, reading, speaking and writing activities, utilizing learning tools and technology to engage any learner. We approach our teaching from the communicative method, where both the student and teacher speaking in English is at the center of our lessons.
Both of our English teachers at VIVA hold English teaching certifications, and have passed through high levels of instruction, giving them the knowledge and the skills to successfully approach the process of language learning. Our teachers draw from a wide range of worldly interactions and personal experience with the English language. We promise our students a learning environment full of diverse formats of learning, relevant and wide-ranging topics, and responsive and engaging teachers.
